Tombua and Landana field, Block 14, offshore Cabinda, Angola : 1" Smart Bands used to tighten half-selves of 14" and 18" P.U. pipe protections for dropped objects at vicinity of Compliant Piled Tower (CPT) at +/- 380 m water depth.

New Smart Band® Hybrid systems now available

HCL are delighted to launch their new Hybrid Smart Band® systems The 19mm (3/4") has a maximum break strength of over 1400kg (3800lbs) - this means that it is over 30% stronger than the 25mm (1") Hybrid system that it is replacing. The 32mm (1 1/4") system has a remarkable break strength of 2,560kg (5640lbs) and can be tightened to over 8000N clamping force. This quite simply means that it is the strongest non metallic band and buckle system in the world. |
